A lot has changed
After having a year out from studying, I have taken the time to refocus and get my mind back into a better space. It was a long journey but something I needed to do, otherwise I would have been no good to anyone. I have had therapy and unfortunately, I am on anti-anxiety medication. It’s working and to be honest, taking 2 pills each day has become second nature for me. I think in the near future I will speak to my doctor about reducing the dose.
I have decided to carry on with my degree, I have done so much up to this point that it will be redundant to stop now. I am going to start with TM357 Cisco Networking part 2 and TM355. I’m not sure if I am taking on to much this year but time will tell!
This year I am starting stage 3 of my degree which is the last stage I have to complete 4 modules and I do beleive I have to think about what I am going to write about for my dissertation – which I have no clue yet!
I have also left my employer Hinton after 22 years to pursue my new career, I have landed a job in IT as a Support Analyst working in the Financial Technology industry – I am really enjoying it and the people I work with are great and really friendly and approachable. I have been there now for just over 6 weeks and I have learnt so much. I am settling in well and I am now working from home.
I am going to start updating this blog again as it feels to be an outlet to get what ever is in my mind onto paper (for lack of a paper phrase) I know a few people follow this blog and I thank you for that.
I hope you all have a good week
Glad that things have changed, hopefully for the better. Good luck with TM357, I am chatting with some students doing it this year on a WhatsApp group so reach out if you are not already on it.
Thanks mate, I’m not on the WhatsApp group are you able to send me a link?
