I was struggling with TMA01 this is mainly because of question 1, it contributes 70% of the total mark, and I had to right a short report about with the following headings…
- What is the Internet of Things (IoT)?
- Long Term Evolution (LTE) Standards for the IoT
- A Comparison with other Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technologies
- Challenges for 5G in Relation to the IoT
- In Conclusion
Just in case you didn’t know, the Internet of Things (IoT) are devices that are able to be connected together or through the internet to share information, so devices such as smart phones, computers, tablets, smart bulbs, home hubs such as Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa can be considered smart devices, especially the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, as these devices do not have all the information stored in their memory but rather are connected to the internet and to the corrisponding companies servers to get information to you.
I have had to cram all this information in to 700-750 which was extremely hard to do and I don’t think I have done a very good job at it so I’m dreading what my score is going to be. As long as I get a pass I’d be happy but I will of course be striving for a better score that 40%!
I heard that in this module last year, the students had 2000 words to play around with for this exact same question, so god knows why they have changed it now, I think there is to much to cover in this report that 750 word would allow.
I have just submitted it and now all I have to do is wait. Fingers crossed.
Yeah that was a terrible question. I had to take a day off work to do it.
That said I was very happy with my 96% result.
